edesign

Edesign has been a SUPER fun (and EFFECTIVE) way of getting organized whether I've been helping friends with their interiors, assisting friends of friends, or just within our own home. While some of these spaces below have been carried through to completion, some are "in progress" and others are still in their "e" phase haha! Scroll down to see. I update this page frequently as each space comes to be IRL.

Several have associated blog posts where you can find links to purchase the pieces used (or similar ones).

Between our past projects and my endless "what should we do next?" thoughts, this has, so far, been my FAVORITE way to make progress. YAS!

ANOTHER UPDATE: PHOTOSHOP IS MY NEW BFF

UPDATE: I've recently somewhat figured out Photoshop so...

...I can re-plan Carter's room out 7 billion times!

PUBLISHER VS PHOTOSHOP
I had been using Publisher for my layouts while trying to figure out Photoshop in tandem - I've got to say, I see what the big hoopla is about the ol' reigning editing king, Photoshop. Here is a comparison - both are great, but how about those pixels on PS's??? Yas. Am I nerding out? I think the reason I like PS's more is also because of the lack of the teensy white lines around each piece. Does that make sense? It's more clean cut if you look closely.

MASTER BEDROOM
Purchased so far from this design: the glorious cal king bed frame and the rug, both from Jeromes.

NURSERY

LIVING ROOM
This design is also still in it's "e" phase, save for one of the two couches seen here. Similar style purchased here at Jeromes.

FAMILY ROOM
This room is well underway: what's been purchased so far has been the Z Gallerie Hayes recliner in charcoal (purchased online in EXCELLENT condition - we got EXTREMELY lucky), two of the same grey sofas from Jeromes and a similar rug, also from Jeromes.

SHARED BOY AND GIRLS' ROOM REFRESH: BEFORE AND AFTER

BIG GIRL'S ROOM
Currently still in it's electronic form, save for the rug purchased here.
Yet to be purchased: bed frame, book shelves (WALMART - WHAT?!), side table, curtains, lamp, wallpaper, chandelier.

COZY FAMILY ROOM: BEFORE AND AFTER

BOYS ROOM
Progress picture to come.
